Ugh - time for bed.

This is just a skeleton. I will get tobwork on it later on - promised.

Day 07 - Kyoto

Saturday, march 12th, yet another pleasent day, so I had the oportunity to follow the itinery again and went on a trip to Kibune & Kurama which I immensly enjoyed.

Day 06 - Kyoto

Friday, march 11th, a lovely day, which I used following the itinery to visit Arashiyama.

Day 05 - Kyoto

Thursday, march 10th, leaving Tokyo behind and not beeing to sad about it.
I got to rid the shinkansen, the bullet train, from Tokyo to Kyoto. As I had to take it from Tokyo Station which claims to be the biggest in the world I left early.

Arrived at a most lovely ryokan. Such a pleasure to stay here.
The motto of the room is Wakei Seijyaku. The trinity of japanese tea ceremony Sado.
Harmony. Respect. Silence.
A philosophy of elegance, grace and humility.

Day 04 - Tokyo

Wednesday, march 09th, again a day with heavy rain.
So instead of visiting Hakone & Mt Fuji National Park enjoying Lake Ashinoko, Gora Park and the Hakone open air museum, I stayed home at the hotel.
I did not mind though. The sad thing at staying at a quite nice hotel is, that you usually come in late, leave early, stay out all day and do not get to enjoy all amenities.

Day 03 - Tokyo

Tuesday, march 08th, a lovely sunny day.
The itinery suggested a trip to Nikko to visit Toshugu Shrine complex, Tamozawa Imperial Villa and Lake Chuzenji, which all sure would have been well worth a visit.

Instead I went to Yokohama to meet up with Eriko.
We spent some time at the harbour before moving on to Kamakura which was lovely.

Day 02 - Tokyo

Monday, March 07 th and raining all day. :s
According to the Itinery it had been my plan to go on a trip to Mount Takao.

The alternative plan beeing to visit the MOT - Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo as there an exebition on PIXAR is beeing held. Of course Mondays they are beeing closed.

But hey, Tokyo man! So what if it rains.
But sure sensible me went to sort out the things which haf not been solved the day before first... ;)
